Dr. Shabuddin Khan

Mr. Khan from Leicester is a Senior Laparoscopic Colorectal Registrar working in NHS, UK. He moved to UK from Bangalore in 2003 to pursue his future career. With a very high flying career in NHS, He firmly believes that the best way to empower the less fortunate and underprivileged is by promoting good Health and Education. He was awarded the Prestigious academic degree of Membership of Royal college of Surgeons ,UK in 2007. He has researched in Oesophageal Cancer and was awarded MD from Queen Mary University London. Alongside his various other accolades, he was honoured with David Dunn Medal from the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland in 2013.

Himself coming from a humble background, he envisages his community to be at par with the best in health and education. He is a pioneer in building networks and further utilising them to the best of their ability for social and humanitarian cause. He is a keen participant of various Community oriented activities both in India and UK. He was awarded the Chief Constable Good Citizen Award by West Midland Police, Birmingham in 2014 for his bravery in saving an individual’s life. He is actively involved in running charitable activities primarily focusing on health and education in socio-economically deprived areas of Bangalore. He is an Ex-Trustee of Colchester Islamic Community Centre, UK.
Apart from his social activities, he is an excellent teacher well known for his teaching skills.

I.N.D.I.A group has been a long due dream project to work towards the humanitarian cause at a larger scale. Pragmatism interspersed with common sense is the least we need to uphold the core humanitarian values and Dr.Khan stands with resolute determination through I.N.D.I.A group to ascertain this is achieved to make the world a better place to live.
